The wait is finally over! Sunnies Co. has officially opened their first cafe restaurant - Sunnies Cafe. The cafe has been the talk of the town since the sunglasses company first announced their new project. There were plenty of hype online and of course, a lot of it were from the lovely Georgina and the amazing team.

- Opening Hours: 11:30am-3pm, 6pm-11pm (Mon-Fri); 11:30am-12am (Sat-Sun)
- Address: Lane P, Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
- Price for two: PHP 850 and up
My boyfriend and I have visited Sunnies Cafe twice already. Our first visit was for dinner and the latter was for breakfast. Unfortunately, we did not know that they open at 11:30am because their Zomato page is not reliable. It says the resto opens at 7am during weekends but the truth is it opens at 11:30am! We arrived there at around 8:30am and waited for 3 hours! Good thing, there are a lot of Poke-stops there *sigh*.
The place
As expected from Sunnies, the place is incredibly "cool" and stylish. Sunnies has definitely put their brand's personality to their interiors with mixing retro and modern-styled furniture. Using what they're known for, Sunnies covered the cafe with the pastel posters and minimalist decor which made the whole place incredibly instagram-worthy.
In the morning, the place is well-lit by sunshine and indoor lamps. At night, candles are lit that serve as the main lighting and also bring a romantic yet chill ambiance.
Customers may be seated on the couch, or the high tables. I suggest to take the high tables because they offer more privacy and you can get a nice view of the whole place. There is a small lounge at the second story of the restaurant full of magazines and sofa chairs. However, it is not yet open for customers.
The service
The crew were warm and professional. Within 15 minutes from opening, the place was jam-packed, and they managed to place everyone to seats and offered beverages to them as soon as they're comfortable. However, the waiting time for the food is too long. Being one of the first customers to arrive, our order was not really taken care of. We waited for 45 minutes for our order, while other customers are getting their order one by one.

The bacon is superb. Actually, when I ordered this, I was expecting bacon strips LOL but this surprised me and it was a good kind of surprise. :) The taters are crispy but also tender inside. This is definitely the highlight of my visit.

As the main course, this should be the highlight of the menu. However, the rice bowl is extremely disappointing. The meal is described to be a bone marrow omelette but in reality the bone marrow is just placed on top and it does not go well with everything.

Perfect for appetizer. Reminds me of Piknik potato fries. Plus, the sriracha aioli dip is amazing!
